Description: As demonstrated by the British Board of Film Censors in the opening the original title of this movie is "German occupation of Louraine". The documentary refers to a French counter-offensive to liberate the territories of Alsace and Lorraine occupied by the Germans, probably in 1916. It is followed by a second part introduced by the sign "The Russians do a nice roundup" where some images show German and Austrian prisoners in the hands of Czarist troops. It could be the battle fought by the Russian army to retake the city of Lviv and Kovel 'in June 1916 (battle known as Brusilov offensive).
